Covid and ISO Health Informatics Experience & Telehealth Services
The future of telehealth in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic will be determined by policy and funding. Flinders University carried out a study of health professionals to determine their experiences with telehealth within COVID-19. Telehealth services, which permit doctors and health professionals to communicate with patients over the telephone or through the internet, were embraced in Australia during the initial phases of the pandemic. This was done to decrease the chance of spreading transmissible diseases. This is particularly beneficial for rural and remote areas where physical medicine might be difficult to obtain.

Flinders University researchers, including Professor Paul Ward and Dr HailayAbrha Geosesew as well as Professor Anthony Maeder, Prof Hailay Abrha Gemew and Professor Hailay Abrha Gsesew, and Professor Alan Taylor, surveyed 91 health professionals to assess their experience with telehealth in the context of the pandemic. According to the doctors, there are positives including the legalization of telehealth, greater trust in the service provision, and greater human- and financial resource availability.

"While many clinicians believe that the shift to Telehealth was prompted by the Pandemic," Dr Alan Taylor of Flinders University. He is an active member and principal author of the Australian Telehealth Society Committee.

Dr. Taylor stated that it is hard to predict whether the telehealth system will be able to last following the pandemic. The funding future for health services offered via telehealth is influenced by the intricate mixture of clinical and policy procedures. Dr Alan Taylor oversaw a project to establish an international standard on telehealth. Dr Taylor stated that international standards are an important part of world trade in goods, services, and with the increasing use of telehealth services, it is crucial to maintain the quality of telehealth services subject to ISO/TR 11633-2:2021 Health informatics-Information security management for remote maintenance of medical devices and medical information systems. These guidelines can be used by healthcare providers like primary care physicians, to develop protocols and establish quality goals for telehealth services. Telehealth Quality Management
The management of operational and strategic processes in relation to knowledge management and regulations (best guidelines and practices).
Healthcare-related processes that involve people, such as planning, healthcare activities and the responsibilities
Financial resources management
Information management and security
The provision and planning for infrastructure, human resources facilities, technology, and human resources.
